Overview
Mange repair orders/services following contract terms, internal policies and best practice. Perform analysis on bids to ensure GAL receives best price and quality while ensuring transactional profitability. Track repair returns and liaise with Logistics function to ensure timely delivery to customers. Maintain approved MRO list for aircraft applicability/aviation equipment and track repair vendor performance.
Also will be responsible for:
- Process repair orders to the assigned repairer in timely manner and provide repair instructions to logistics.
- Support repair process team at logistics with ECCN/HTS/other classification details to ensure no customs hold.
- Conduct effective sourcing, tendering, evaluation and vendor performance management, if needed.
- Obtain & perform freight quote bid analysis for the oversize shipments.
- Track & obtain repair quote after TTE for quote approval process.
- Monitor the progress of repair completion within agreed RTAT (repair turnaround time) and agreed cost.
- Maintain & coordinate with end user operations team ensuring repair returns are made in time to meet operational requirements.
- Respond in a timely manner to customer/repairer queries and feedback.
- Liaise with Logistics department to ensure goods and services are delivered timely
- Liaise with repairer to ensure obtaing contractual remedies and escalate any delinquency.
- Manage and track repair orders in terms of operational priority and/or overdue.
- Organize vendor performance meetings and coordinate repair related activities to help improving the service level.
- Manage warranty & insurance claims pertaining to Aircraft/Engine/GSEs.
- Assist preparing component repair performance/high cost drivers/TAT compliance reports.
- Assist GAL finance to ensure timely invoice payment to avoid repairer credit hold and process advance payment, if needed.
- Maintain liaison with other sections on all aspects of repair and ensure high level of coordination is maintained.
- Other duties related to the job, as assigned by supervisor.

Qualification
- Diploma required, preferably in a technical discipline. Bachelors Degree would be a plus.
- Knowledge of applicable GCAA/EASA/FAA
- Ability to read & present interptation on technical documents
Experience
- 5 years industry experience in supply chain management,warehouse& logistics,repair management,material planning/support & inventory control,technical purchasing or any aviation support services.
- Work experience in repair management related area is highly desirable.
