We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Reporting & Visualization Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of reports and Power BI Dashboards to help drive data-informed decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, a passion for data visualization, profound knowledge of Power BI and a desire to grow their skills in data analysis and reporting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced analysts and gain valuable experience in the field of reporting and visualization.
This role will be 6 months fixed term contract.
Job Accountabilities
As Reporting & Visualization Analyst, your role will involve:
- Assist in collecting and analyzing data from various sources to support the development of reports and visualizations.
- Collaborate with the team to design and create visually appealing and informative dashboards using Power BI
- Support the maintenance and enhancement of existing reports and visualizations, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
- Assist in gathering requirements from stakeholders and translating them into actionable reporting and visualization solutions.
- Perform data quality checks and validation to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data used in reporting and visualization.
- Assist in identifying trends, patterns, and insights in the data, and contribute to the development of meaningful recommendations for stakeholders.
- Support the creation and maintenance of standardized reporting templates and processes to promote consistency and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to gather data requirements and ensure data availability and accuracy.
- Stay updated on data visualization best practices and emerging trends, incorporating new techniques and approaches into reports and visualizations.
- Contribute to the documentation and organization of reporting and visualization resources and materials. Work closely with business users to plan and carry out data analyses and ensure visualization needs are addressed.
- Support the development of rich interactive graphics, providing data visualizations and dashboards of large amounts of structured data, to enable simple interpretation of complex data models.
Job Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
- Some experience in data analysis, reporting, or a similar role, with exposure to data visualization tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with other data visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlik, or similar software is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of data analysis concepts and techniques, with a willingness to learn and grow in this area.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to work with data and identify trends and insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other data manipulation tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills in data analysis, reporting, and visualization.
