Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor all construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, contractual obligations, and quality standards.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to meet project milestones and deadlines. Manage project resources effectively to optimize productivity and minimize delays.
- Maintain strong client relationships by providing regular project updates, addressing client concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction with the architectural aspects of the project.
- Conduct periodical design meetings and design workshops with design office, sub-consultants, contractors, and clients to solve the pending issues and to mitigate or avoid any potential delays in the actual progress, so as to achieve the planned progress.
- Lead a team and ensure the compliance of the submitted documents with contracts/agreement, overseeing senior discipline engineers to ensure the consistency of design review comments with the projects objectives.
- Liaising with site supervision team and conducting site visits to understand projects required details and pending design issues, coordinate with technical team to initiate the required actions to respond to contractor.
- Identify and mitigate project risks related to architectural design and coordination, proactively addressing potential challenges.
- Diligently handle client issues, taking prompt actions to address the same, resulting in customer delight.
- Prepare and present project reports to senior management, clients, and stakeholders, highlighting architectural milestones, issues, and recommendations.
Requirements:
- Master's / Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil or related field from an accredited institution.
- 18+ years of experience in architectural design with a focus on high-rise buildings.
- Strong understanding of building systems, codes, and regulations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines.
