Job Title: Resident Engineer SCADA and Control System

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Salary: AED 24,000 per month (All Inclusive & Non-Negotiable)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resident Engineer SCADA & Instrumentation and Control to join our client's team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in WinCC OA, major master control systems, and OT cybersecurity, specifically within the water projects sector.

MUST HAVE SKILLS (Non-Negotiable):

• Experience in Major Master Control Centers, preferably water systems.
• Experience and Proficiency in WinCC OA system (with 250k+ tags)
• Experience in IEC 104 communication.
• Experience and Exposure to OT Cybersecurity.
• Experience in brownfield EPC contracts through client-facing consultant roles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of SCADA systems for water projects.
• Ensure the integration of WinCC OA into major master control systems.
• Implement and manage OT cybersecurity measures to protect operational technology.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure seamless operation and compliance with industry standards.
• Conduct regular system inspections and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
• Provide technical support and training to staff on SCADA systems and cybersecurity protocols.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Control Systems, or a related field.
• 12 years of proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the water sector.
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with WinCC OA (SIMATIC WinCC OA).
• Strong Experience and understanding of major master control systems (MCC) and their integration.
• Expertise in OT cybersecurity, including best practices and implementation strategies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
