OUR EXPECTATIONS FROM THE ROLE:
The Restaurant General Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently. This individual must have excellent leadership skills, strong business acumen, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and prioritize the supervision of daily restaurant operations with Restaurant Manager and assists with menu planning, maintains sanitation standards and assists servers and hosts on the floor so employees understand expectations and parameters . Strives to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction and maximize the financial performance in areas of responsibility in a way that displays leadership in guest hospitality, exemplifies excellent customer service and creates a positive atmosphere for guest relations. Determines training needed to accomplish goals, then implements plan and maintain productivity level of employees. Additionally ensuring compliance with all food & beverage policies, standards and procedures by training, supervising, follow-up and hands on management. This role also oversees the financial aspects of the department including purchasing and payment of invoices.
