We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead the pre-opening of HANU, a contemporary Korean concept opening this October.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the performance of the Restaurant focusing on delivering the highest quality and brand service standards to constantly meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Ensure that the food produced and served is at best quality and in compliance with the budget and the targeted profit margin.
- Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Handle and addresses guest's complaints and requests taking action to facilitate and promote the delivery of high quality of customer service and experience.
- Provide on-the-job training and constructive feedback to subordinates to support their overall development.
- Manage and motivate a diverse team of staff, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging professional growth.
- Ensure compliance to all relevant Health, Safety and Environment management procedures and controls within a defined area of activity so that HANU provides excellent hospitality services to its guests.
- Implement approved departmental policies, processes and procedures and provide instructions to subordinates and monitor their adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner while delivering a quality service to guests and maintaining standards of excellence.
- Performs other duties pertinent to this job as assigned.
Ideal candidate:
- BA degree in Hospitality or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in a high-end dining establishment.
- Strong knowledge and passion for Korean cuisine and culture.
- Excellent management and organizational skills.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position in the field of hospitality, in a fine dining restaurant
- Excellent communication skills in English and Korean
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences.
- Excellent computer skills in MS Office
