What is the role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Revenue Manager to join our team and play a critical role in maximizing revenue across our portfolio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing revenue management strategies that optimize property performance, drive profitability, and ensure a competitive edge in the market.
Key Responsibilities
- As the Revenue Manager, you will work closely with the business development, marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure that our pricing strategies align with our business goals and deliver maximum returns.
- Develop and execute revenue management strategies that drive optimal performance across all properties.
- Monitor market trends, competitor analysis, and industry forecasts to inform pricing and distribution decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, marketing, and sales to align revenue objectives.
- Analyze historical data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for growth and mitigate revenue risks.
- Optimize pricing strategies across various channels, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Implement revenue management tools and technologies to enhance data-driven decision-making.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in revenue management practices and emerging trends in the real estate and hospitality industry.
- You will be expected to interpret data and inform on pricing decisions that maximize Average Price and profits.
- Forecasting various levels of demands for specific promotions, offers, or in line with the yearly budgeting exercise
- Conduct primary and secondary qualitative and quantitative market research to identify trending business models and pricing strategies for current and new product initiatives
What do you bring to the table
- Minimum of 5 years of experience, with at least 3 years of experience in pricing or revenue management in the hospitality industry, preferably in short-term rentals
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with experience in data analysis and modelling
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
- Experience with pricing tools and revenue management systems
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions
- Passion for travel and the hospitality industry
