Job Description
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Re-design responsibility:
- To re-design EOL parts in T&M RF Test measurement products to extend their life span to meet customer needs & maintain RF product revenue
- Re-design circuitry ranges from low frequency analogue, power supply, RF and Microwave circuitries including discrete and IC based topologies.
- Integrate DFM inputs from MFG to improve product yield & quality
- Research and propose alternative parts with effective solutions in consideration of avoiding major software & product calibration, hardware topology changes to replace EOL parts in RF products.
- Proactive in doing mock-up design as POC (Proof of Concept) to strengthen re-design proposal to get final approval from RF domain leaders.
- Exposure in analogue passive / active filter designs, DSP, and PCB layout development are ideal requirements
- Completing Board level Best practices(BLBP) and Analog Design Best Practices (ADBP) is added advantage.
- Have good knowledge in failure analysis to root cause failures during early VnV and MFG builds.
- Able to come up fish bone diagram to list possible root cause and narrow down to actual rootcause.
- Properly document failure / project progress and share with stake holders by sharing short and long term design solutions.
- Create debug tool and training material for MFG during product release
- Deploy re-design project into T&M MFG Penang to meet customer demand according release date
- Good exposure of NI product calibration and T&M test measurements best practices to solve product issues during NPI and Ship & Ramp
- Create proper debug guides, debug tools and provide training to MFG techs and Failure Analysis engineer.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelors in Engineering (or related) degree Electronics or Telecommunications
- Analogue design experience in T&M products
- Ability to travel to Austin for training and project discussion with R&D
- 4 to 8 years of work experience in the related field is required for this position
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Experienced Analog design engineers with passion to learn RF design are ideal candidates
- Hand on problem solving skills including failure analysis and root cause analysis
- Cross functional communication experience
