JOB PURPOSE:
Act as SASREF's custodian and subject matter expert on enterprise risk management (ERM), business continuity management (BCM) as well as ethics/regulatory compliance (Compliance). Interfaces regularly with SASREF Management Team, Shareholder and/or Board/Audit Committee.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Manage end-to-end ERM process in SASREF including risks identification, assessment, and mitigations; monitor/evaluate, as well as report the enterprise risks to the Refinery Management Committee, Board of Managers and Audit Committee.
- Provide strong support to the businesses in SASREF on functional/departmental risks management process e.g. for major projects and turnarounds.
- Lead end-to-end BCM process in SASREF including regular risk and impact assessment, gap analysis, develop, test and improve business continuity plans (BCPs) and ensures alignment with overall Crisis Management of SASREF.
- Act as a proactive advisor to the SASREF BCM Steering Committee, be alert on emergent risks that require activation of business continuity and closely supports SASREF's businesses during a crisis, including on the required business infrastructure and capabilities.
- Develop and implement with close liaison with internal stakeholders, an effective Ethics and Regulatory Compliance Program in SASREF including developing the relevant policies/procedures, controls, monitoring, review/audit and improvement.
- Act as the subject matter experts in company-wide on ERM, BCM and Compliance and proactively promote their awareness, ownership and accountability.
- Liaise closely with other Corporate Planning sections on alignment of ERM, BCM and Compliance with business plan strategies and action plans.
- Review, improvise and update regularly ERM, BCM and Compliance strategies, objectives and policies that will establish the framework, tools and procedures based on industry and Shareholder best practices and trends.
- Liaises proactively with Training and Development Department and the businesses on competencies and training requirements in refinery wide on BCM, ERM and Compliance.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the direct manager.
Qualification:
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
- Extensive training or certification in ERM, BCM and/or Compliance.
- Proficiency in English language skills (both verbal and writing).
Experience:
- Minimum of 6 years relevant experience preferably in oil and gas industry.
