Position Overview

The Risk and Compliance Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the organization's risk management and compliance programs. This includes ensuring that the company adheres to local regulations, international compliance standards, and internal policies. The role involves identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks, as well as promoting a culture of compliance across the organization. The Risk and Compliance Manager will play a key role in safeguarding the organization's integrity, reputation, and operational efficiency within the UAE and global standards

Position Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities as Partnerships Lead will include the following:

• Develop, implement, and monitor the organization's enterprise risk management (ERM) framework.
• Identify, assess, and prioritize risks across various functions, including operational, financial, regulatory, and reputational risks.
• Collaborate with departments to establish risk controls, perform regular risk assessments, and manage mitigation strategies.
• Develop and oversee the organization's compliance program to ensure adherence to UAE laws, industry regulations, and international standards (e.g., AML, FATCA).
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on the organization, ensuring policies and procedures remain up-to-date.
• Develop, review, and update compliance and risk policies, ensuring alignment with best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Establish processes for managing and reporting incidents related to non-compliance, fraud, or other risks.

Position Requirements:

In order to be successful in this role, you should have

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CRCM, CAMS, CCEP, CPA) is preferred.
• 7+ years of relevant experience
• Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of UAE regulations, including AML/CFT, FATCA, and other industry-specific requirements.
