Responsibilities:
Support Senior Manager, Business Risks and Controls to identify, manage and mitigate Business Risk matters for Retail Banking and Wealth Management
Support monitoring of fraud investigation reports and actionable items.
Assist in identification of control and implementation gaps and oversee remedial actions.
Communication with relevant stakeholders to ensure regulatory and other risk related issues are addressed.
Provide BAU guidance to relevant stakeholders on regulatory requirements and operational controls to strengthen processes and product/ service roll out and implementation
Supervise BAU activities to ensure with key technical regulatory and risk and audit focus to ensure elimination of lapses.
Support Senior Manager, Business Risk and Controls to monitor, track and report on audits pertaining to RBWM.
Ensure corrective action is taken to meet business objectives
Advice and report on lessons learnt and minimizing future occurrences.
Continuously assess and improve the bank's processes, policies and procedures to enhance controls around Business Risk.
Support details of training on compliance, Fraud prevention and business level controls
Support building a culture of compliance amongst all staff especially sourcing, branch and relationship teams.
Skills & Qualifications:
Graduate with understanding of business, local regulations and the banking landscape.
Conversant with full range of banking products and services.
A minimum of 5 years professional experience in banking with extensive experience in operations, retail banking and branch banking.
Understanding of all banking operations, product, policies, regulations, compliance and risk management is needed.
Good knowledge of the policy, procedures, standards, local and international regulations and the legislation of the prevention of money laundering.
