We are seeking Bar Backs / Bussers / Food Runners (we call that a Roamer). Roamers are dedicated to delivering exceptional service and genuine hospitality. Roamers are responsible for promptly delivering and removing food and beverage items, maintaining a clean environment, and assisting servers and bartenders. Roamers report directly to the Floor Manager.
Responsibilities include the following:
- Provide above-and-beyond service to Guests with a friendly face
- Deliver cold, freshly poured drinks and prepared food to Guests
- Clean up spilled food, drink and broken dishes, and remove empty bottles and trash
- Assist servers and bartenders in their service duties
- Keep golf simulator bays and service areas cleared and clean
- Maintain outstanding energy, urgency and attention to detail
- Actively check in with Guests throughout their booking to ensure satisfaction
- Take pride and ownership of each Guest's enjoyment and fun at Five Iron Golf
- Assist team with re-stocking of key items such as ice, crockery, cutlery, napkins etc
- Assist bar team by maintaining keg room ambiance
- Communicate with management team any issues or low call items
Required Qualifications:
Server And/or Hospitality Experience Encouraged But NOT Required
- Upbeat energy and enthusiasm
- Positive Can-do attitude
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and work with a team
- Ability to stand, walk and bend for long periods of time
- Proficient verbal and oral communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Able to be proactive and anticipate guest needs
- Flexibility to work a variety of working shifts and patterns
