Robotics Engineer

Location - Abu Dhabi

Salary - 28,000 - 30,000 AED / month

Work style - On-site

A leading Abu Dhabi based research institute is seeking a Robotics Engineer to join their Navigation team in order to develop and maintain robotics software using C++ for their autonomous robotics projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robotics software using C++
• Work with PX4 and ROS 1/ROS 2 frameworks for robotic applications
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to integrate trained neural networks in a deployment environment
• Debug and troubleshoot software issues
• Contribute to the design and architecture of robotic software systems

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience with C++ programming language
• Experience with PX4
• Experience with ROS 1 and ROS 2 frameworks
• Strong familiarity with Linux operating systems
• Understanding of robotic systems and control algorithms
• Experience with robotics simulator development (e.g. Gazebo)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field
• Great - Fluent English skills
