The Role

As a Room Division Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Rooms Division, which includes Front Office, Housekeeping, and Concierge services. You will ensure that all guest interactions and room-related services meet our high standards of hospitality. Your leadership will drive operational excellence, enhance the guest experience, and foster a positive, collaborative work environment for your team members.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

Please note that the responsibilities outlined below are not exhaustive. Red Sea Global Hospitality team members continuously innovate in caring for the needs of the business, their guests, and their colleagues. As Room Division Manager, you will need to:

  • Operational Management: Supervise and coordinate all aspects of the Rooms Division operations, ensuring that guest services are delivered seamlessly and efficiently.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Ensure that all guests experience exceptional service, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally to enhance their overall satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop team members across Front Office, Housekeeping, and Concierge to maintain high levels of performance, engagement, and professional growth.
  • Training and Development: Conduct regular training sessions to ensure team members are equipped with the skills and knowledge required to provide outstanding service.
  • Room Inventory Management: Oversee room assignments, rates, and availability, working closely with Reservations to maximize occupancy and revenue.
  • Operational Standards: Ensure that all rooms meet the property's cleanliness, maintenance, and quality standards. Implement procedures to monitor and improve these standards continuously.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with the Food & Beverage, Engineering, and Sales teams to coordinate guest services and ensure smooth operations across the property.
  • Budget and Cost Control: Assist in managing the budget for the Rooms Division, identifying areas for cost-saving initiatives while maintaining service quality.
  • Guest Feedback: Actively monitor guest feedback and reviews, responding to any concerns or complaints in a timely manner to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure that the Rooms Division complies with health, safety, and security regulations, as well as internal policies, to maintain a safe environment for guests and team members.

Qualifications and Standards

To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field; additional certifications in hospitality management are a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 10 years of experience in Rooms Division management, preferably within luxury hospitality or a high-end resort environment.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team, with a focus on building strong relationships and fostering a positive work culture.
  • Operational Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Front Office, Housekeeping, and Concierge operations, with experience in managing multiple departments within the Rooms Division.
  • Guest Service Excellence: A passion for providing exceptional guest service and a track record of consistently exceeding guest expectations.
  • Financial Acumen: Understanding of budgeting, cost control, and revenue management practices within the Rooms Division.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with both guests and team members effectively.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle guest issues and operational challenges calmly and efficiently.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, service, and guest experience.
