Scope of Work for a Level 3 Rope Access Technician (With Manual - Driving License)Site Supervision: Oversee rope access operations on-site, ensuring all activities comply with safety standards and procedures.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and hazard analysis before commencing any rope access work.
Safety Protocols:
Implement and enforce safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and emergency procedures.Rescue Operations:
Plan and execute rescue operations in the event of an emergency, ensuring the safety of all team members.Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and codes of practice (e.g., IRATA, OSHA).
- 2. Certification and Training
IRATA Level 3 Certification: International Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA) Level 3 certification, demonstrating advanced skills and knowledge.
- First Aid Training: Up-to-date first aid and CPR certification.
Continual Professional Development:
Ongoing training and development to stay current with the latest techniques, safety standards, and regulations.
- 3. Team Leadership and Training
Team Leadership:
Lead and manage a team of Level 1 and Level 2 rope access technicians, providing direction and support.Mentorship:
Mentor and train junior technicians, helping them to develop their skills and advance their certification levels.Toolbox Talks: Conduct regular safety briefings and toolbox talks to ensure all team members are aware of the day's tasks and potential hazards.
