We Are Hiring! This is a full-time on-site role as a Safety Engineer at Gulf Chemical & Industrial Oils Co. The Safety Engineer will be responsible for the following:
- implementing and maintaining safety protocols, conducting risk assessments, and providing occupational health support.
Preparing testing reports for fire protection equipment, which must be completed in adherence to the specified schedule.
- Rigorous auditing of the Permit to Work system is necessary to ensure strict compliance with safety procedures.
developing and delivering training programs, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
· Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
· Qualifications in NEBOSH or SEC certification.
· Experience in implementing safety protocols and conducting risk assessments
· Occupational Health and Security skills
· Training and development skills
· Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and standards
