Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented
Safety Engineer to join our team!
What You'll Be Doing
- Conduct all accident, incident and near-miss investigations and recommend changes to management
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
- Attend all safety committee meetings, build and distribute meeting agenda, take meeting minutes and ensure all necessary paperwork is ready for meeting
- Create training programs for employees on safe work practices, hazardous materials handling, and emergency response procedures.
- Collaborate with management to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards in the workplace.
What Required Skills You'll Bring
- Bachelors in Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Safety Audits and Inspections Skilled in conducting regular safety audits, inspections, and assessments to ensure ongoing safety standards are met.
- Emergency Response Planning Capability in developing and coordinating emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures and first-aid protocols.
- Communication and Reporting Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting safety reports, advising management, and engaging with teams.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring
- Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Knowledge Knowledge of environmental safety standards and practices, including environmental impact assessments and sustainability initiatives.
- Leadership and Influence Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to influence safety practices, guide teams, and promote a safety-first mindset across an organization.
- OSHA training 30 hours
- Preferable NEBOSH Certification
- Behavior-Based Safety Programs Expertise in implementing and promoting behavior-based safety initiatives to foster a proactive safety culture.
- Knowledge of Safety Regulations Expertise in OSHA standards, KSA safety laws, and industry best practices.
- Safety Training and Education Experience designing and delivering safety training programs to promote awareness and ensure compliance.
