Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified Safety Officer to join our team and ensure that all health, safety, and environmental policies are effectively implemented across our project sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety management, excellent communication skills in English, and proficiency in computer applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Prepare and maintain HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) reports and documentation.
- Conduct safety training and awareness sessions for staff and team members.
- Respond to emergencies and investigate incidents, providing recommendations to prevent future occurrences.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Safety Officer, ideally within the construction, industrial, or related sectors.
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety management software.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH, or equivalent).
- Familiarity with local HSE regulations and best practices.
