Supports HSE Manager to implement the company & client approved project HSE Plan & Policies & procedures and providing the assistance with the HSE Manager on site health and safety issues as required.
Develop site Health & Safety culture.
Preparing Risk Assessment JSA and Its Management.
Conduct new employee orientations and file documents.
Conduct a daily tour of the working areas and log details of the observations on the Daily Observation Register.
Ensuring that all non-routine and potentially hazardous routine jobs are carried out under permit to work system with associated complimentary certificates.
Unsafe conditions and unsafe acts are to be reported immediately
Identification of hazards, control, and prevention, and presentation in weekly construction meetings.
Investigating all accidents, incidents, and near misses, identifying the root cause and preparing reports with the findings and corrective actions.
Conducting Health & Safety trainings, Weekly meetings, campaigns, Award functions, drills.
Conducting weekly walk round with consultants and subcontractors for better improvement of HSE.
Making Monthly / Weekly Statistics Report.
Preparing and presenting HSSE Performance review on month ending.
Implementing and monitoring Fire Prevention System
Achieving target zero accident performance.
Developed and implemented emergency response procedures.
Verifies that all tools and equipment are adequate and safe for use.
Educating the workers and ensuring that tools, machinery, and equipment are in proper working order, and well arranged.
Requirements
NEBOSH Certified
Diploma/Bachelors in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical or relevant field
Minimum of 4. years of experience as a safety officer in the construction industry.
Thorough knowledge of local safety regulations, codes, and standards.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate safety requirements to diverse audiences effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
