Position Overview: As a Sales Account Executive focused on closing deals, you will play a crucial role in converting qualified leads into long-term partners in the fintech and regtech sectors. Your primary responsibility will be to finalise sales and onboard new clients, particularly emphasising our RegTech solutions. Collaborating closely with Marketing and Sales teams, you will understand client needs, articulate compelling value propositions, and skillfully close deals, directly contributing to our revenue growth and establishing strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Closer: Take ownership of the deal-closing process, securing commitments from potential clients in technology and software development
- Demand Generation: Collaborate with Marketing to drive demand generation efforts and identify qualified leads
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and manage relationships with clients throughout the sales process, ensuring a seamless transition from prospect to customer
- B2B Sales Techniques: Leverage effective B2B sales strategies and negotiation skills to address client objections, navigate deal complexities, and close agreements
- Internal Coordination: Work with internal stakeholders to streamline the closing process and promptly resolve client concerns
- Product Knowledge: Develop a thorough understanding of our products and services, effectively communicating their value to prospective clients
- Reporting: Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts to senior management
- Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge
Experience and Qualifications:
- Sales Expertise: Proven experience in IT sales with a strong track record of closing deals and driving revenue growth, ideally in the technology sector
- Negotiation Skills: Proficient in B2B sales techniques and negotiation strategies, particularly in technology-focused industries
- Client-Centric Approach: Experience in corporate sales, with a deep understanding of client needs and challenges in software development
- Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to convert leads into loyal clients, providing exceptional customer service and fostering long-term relationships
- CRM Proficiency: Experience with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and other sales tools to manage pipelines, track activities, and optimize performance
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas and solutions clearly
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Sector Experience: Previous experience as a closer in the technology or regtech sector, with a history of exceeding sales targets
- Technical Acumen: Familiarity with software development processes and industry standards to better understand client requirements
- Sales Cycle Navigation: Ability to manage sales cycles of 3-9 months, adept at navigating complex deal structures and decision-making processes
- Channel Knowledge: Understanding of reseller or system integration channels in cybersecurity or identity management, providing insights into potential revenue streams
