Job Description for Sales and Reservations Agent
A Sales and Reservations Agent is responsible for handling customer inquiries, processing reservations, providing sales support, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This role involves direct interaction with customers via phone, email, and sometimes in person. The agent must be knowledgeable about the company's products and services, adept at using reservation systems, and skilled in sales techniques to maximize bookings and revenue.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat promptly and professionally.
- Provide detailed information about products, services, and promotions.
- Assist customers with the reservation process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Process reservations accurately using the company's reservation system.
- Modify or cancel reservations as requested by customers.
- Ensure all customer details are recorded correctly and all necessary information is communicated to relevant departments.
- Identify and act on opportunities to upsell additional products or services.
- Meet or exceed sales targets set by the company.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all current promotions and be able to explain them to customers effectively.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a courteous and professional manner.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any additional needs.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor in all customer interactions.
- Maintain accurate records of all reservations and sales activities.
- Generate reports on reservation trends, sales performance, and customer feedback.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality, business, or a related field is a plus.
- Fluent in both English and Arabic is a must.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, or reservations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in using reservation systems and CRM software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
