Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented sales consultant to join our team. This role will focus on technology contract recruitment, also known as project hiring, within the GCC market. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the technology industry, exceptional networking skills, and a proven track record of sourcing and placing top talent on short-term contracts. This key role will specialise in hiring for technology projects with a focus on technology, change and transformation
Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Using a consultative sales approach to conduct fact finding and needs analysis to uncover and understand project challenges within technology that require project hiring support from Aventus.
- Candidate Sourcing: Utilize various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals, to source qualified candidates for technology contract roles.
- Screening and Assessment: Conduct thorough screenings and assessments of candidates to evaluate their technical skills, experience, and cultural fit for client projects.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their hiring needs, provide regular updates on candidate pipelines, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Candidate Management: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for candidates, including scheduling interviews, collecting feedback, negotiating contract terms, and facilitating onboarding.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities and optimize recruitment strategies.
- Performance Metrics: Track and report on key recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, candidate satisfaction, and client retention, to measure the effectiveness of recruitment efforts and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Strong background in sales and business development, ideally solution selling but any strong sales experience will be considered given the training and development plan that Aventus has in place.
- Minimum of 2 years GCC work experience, someone with an understanding and appreciation of the local market dynamics and culture.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills, utilising phone and in person meetings to develop lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a rapidly evolving business environment.
- Ambition to learn new skills, grow and progress as part of a successful team, and develop a commercial understanding of how contract recruitment works.
