Job Summary:
The Sales Development Representative will play a key role in identifying potential clients and building relationships that convert into valuable sales opportunities. This position requires a driven individual with a keen interest in technology, especially in satellite and telecommunications, to prospect, qualify, and set up high-quality meetings for the sales team. As an SDR, you will work closely with the sales team to execute strategies that support overall business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound prospecting efforts through email campaigns, phone calls, and social media channels to generate a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
- Engage prospects through multiple touchpoints and follow a structured outreach process to drive meaningful conversations.
- Research and identify potential clients within the satellite and telecommunications industry, focusing on companies that align with our target market.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and potential competitors to refine and improve prospecting strategies.
- Work closely with the sales team to develop and execute lead-generation strategies tailored to specific market segments and client profiles.
- Qualify leads by evaluating if they meet established criteria, ensuring that only the most promising opportunities move forward in the sales funnel.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, documenting all lead details, activities, opportunities, and relevant communications.
- Regularly update lead statuses and activities in the CRM system to enable efficient tracking and reporting.
- Nurture relationships with prospects through consistent and strategic follow-up communications, positioning the company as a trusted partner in technology.
- Effectively use various communication channels (email, calls, social media) to keep leads engaged and informed about our offerings.
- Set up introductory meetings or discovery calls between qualified leads and the sales team, ensuring a seamless handoff.
- Collaborate with sales to ensure the smooth transition of leads and provide context to help drive further engagement and closure.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Equivalent experience in a similar role may be considered.
- 1-3 years of experience in Tech. Sales, SaaS, CRM Experience, Sales Tools, and Tech Savviness.
- Familiarity with the satellite and telecommunications industry is a plus.
- Fluency in English language.
- Strong team collaboration skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and building relations skills.
