ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Turpal, you will play a key role in driving the company's growth by identifying and qualifying potential customers. You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and engaging with prospects to understand their business needs.
What you will be doing:
- Identify leads
- Conduct outbound prospecting to generate leads
- Qualify potential clients
- Engage with prospects via various channels (phone, email, social media, etc.) to understand their business needs
- Educate prospects about Turpal's solutions
- Schedule meetings and appointments for the sales team with qualified leads
- Partner with the Sales team to achieve sales goals
- Collaborate with other teams to develop strategies for lead generation and qualification
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 2+ years of experience as a Sales Development Representative or similar role
- Cold calling experience (must-have)
- Experience in any of the below sectors:
- Travel technology solutions
- SAAS (software as a service) solutions to businesses
- Bed banks/leading OTA/Hotel Sales
- Bachelor's degree (must-have). Nice-to-have: Master's degree
- Highly proficient with IT tools: Microsoft Office/Google Suite, CRM, etc.
- Proficiency in CRM (eg: Hubspot)
- Excellent organizational skills
- Startup mindset, open to change and tech-savvy
- Excellent communication skills (spoken and written)
- Fluent in English: both written and spoken (native or professional)
- Fluent in Arabic: both written and spoken (native or professional)
