Role and Responsibilities:
- Meeting and exceeding sales and profitability targets of the department.
- Successfully responsible for effectively implementing and monitoring the effectiveness of marketing activities.
- Responsible to collect and compile market information on various competitive brands.
- Present & demonstrate used cars to meet each customer's individual requirements.
- Evaluate the used car on trade-in in accordance with the relevant guidelines.
- Making all deliveries of vehicles a special occasion & ensure all features & benefits are demonstrated & explained in detail.
- Liaise with the bank and insurance companies to obtain a favourable deal for the customer and the company.
- Ensure proper and accurate processing of paperwork & documentation.
- Utilize the company's database for prospecting, repeat sales & referral.
- Ensure the prevailing pricing structure is always adhered to.
- Responsible to ensure timely receivables from the market
- Identifying methods for improvement in floor traffic control,
- Promoting cooperation between departments involved in Sales, Marketing, Service, and Parts,
- Proactively identifying any cosmetic, CI, health, and safety of other issues which require immediate attention in the showroom, and initiate action on the same,
- Reporting to the Management any issues which might contribute negatively to the achievement of customer satisfaction,
- Soliciting customer feedback at every opportunity through verbal comments or through the customer feedback questionnaire.
- Putting forward suggestions for improving the quality of customer satisfaction,
- Optimizing work processes that influence customer satisfaction in cooperation with the respective department heads
- Ensure the highest degree of customer satisfaction and retention at all times.
- Handling customer complaints and ensuring corrective action has been taken.
- Always communicate professionally with customers before, during & after the sale.
- Communicate and meet with customers on a regular basis with regard to promoting BMW Brand.
- Develops and maintain customer relationships and ensure customer. growth.
- Maintains and develops existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison, to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
- Support the overall objectives of the department.
- Encourage & maintain a high level of team spirit within the department.
- Seeks, appreciates assists, and participates significantly in unit-specific projects or cross-departmental ones.
- Share responsibility for achieving customer growth and Departmental targets.
- Maintain the highest levels of BMW product knowledge & competitive products, personal development& integrity, quality standards, and business ethics.
- Takes the initiative, suggests, and develops plans to explore and create new relations, contacts, and sales opportunities to improve market penetration into existing and new markets.
Candidate Specifications
- 5 + years of experience in used car sales
- Automotive background is preferred
- Friendly with adaptability to teamwork
- Premium-luxury service understanding
- Customer focused
- Result oriented
