The origins of Fresh Express started in 1974 as a humble, family owned and run Mediterranean restaurant in Abu Dhabi. By 1988, the Emirate of Abu Dhabi was growing rapidly. The Vouyoukas family saw this as an opportunity, and by using their extensive knowledge of seafood and network of suppliers, the company began to supply local seafood to the Emirate's hospitality sector.
The family vision was to expand the operations, and in 1994 the company started the importation and worldwide sourcing of fresh produce and gourmet food items. The success of this and the rapid growth of the hospitality sector elsewhere in the UAE made it logical to start operating in Dubai in 1997.
Today, Fresh Express is recognized as one of the leading distributors in the luxury food business within the Gulf region. However, none of what we have achieved would have been possible without our history and passion for food.
Job Summary: The HORECA Sales Executive is responsible for maintaining and executing sales strategies within the specific channel. This role focuses on building and maintaining excellent relationships with the company clients in the HORECA to drive sales growth and enhance market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and target potential clients within the HORECA sector.
- Execute the strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Conduct regular visits to clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.
- Provide insights and feedback to the line manager regarding market opportunities.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the products and services offered.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to clients.
- Close sales deals and ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.
- Work closely with the category managers and product development teams to align sales strategies with company goals.
- Collaborate with the customer service team to ensure client satisfaction and address any issues.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the HORECA industry.
- Strong understanding of the hospitality market and customer needs.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
