A leading supplier of baking and pastry raw ingredients is looking for a really driver Sales Executive to join their team.
They have exclusive products with them, and cater to high-end hotels, restaurants, bakeries, and roasteries. This role has come up as part of their expansion plans and supports them in their growth.
The role reports to the Sales Manager and would involve driving sales with existing accounts as well as acquiring new clients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct outdoor sales activities, with a minimum of 20 client meetings a week.
- Provide customers with the company product list, samples of products and products catalogs.
- Recommend products to customers, based on customers needs and interests, answer questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with current clients, ensuring their needs are met and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, prospecting and engaging with potential clients to expand the customer base.
- Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to ensure smooth order processing and delivery, providing excellent customer service at every touchpoint.
- Keep accurate sales records, prepare daily processing forms as per customer LPO, prepare daily weekly and monthly sales reports, and follow on the client account and credits.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets, driving revenue growth and profitability for the company.
- Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors products, prices, and sales.
- Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, attending trade shows and conferences.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales in a similar domain, with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing sales opportunities.
- Knowledge of the baking and pastry industry or related food industry experience in UAE.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively for client meetings.
