Job purpose
To develop the foodservice business with new and existing customers across the Foodservice channel to achieve set sales targets.
Key accountabilities
New customers
- Seek new customers with the assigned area to develop the customer base.
- Close deals and contracts with new customers
Building business with customers and distribution
- Use the company's products to offer customers solutions to their needs
- Maximize the number of products purchased by customers to maximize sales results
- Develop and conduct ideas, plans and activities that will contribute to sales growth
Managing customer relationships
- Build and maintain a strong relationship and partnership with customers especially with decision makers
- Provide customers with superior customer service levels to gain their loyalty and sustain long term business relationships.
- Collaborate with Logistics and Customer Service to ensure high service levels
- Develop and maintain strong product know-how to be able to advise and convince customers through technical knowledge
Receivables and collection
- Ensure that all receivables and collections are within the agreed payment / credit terms to sustain the company's cash flow levels.
Job requirements:
- Degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing or related field.
- 1 3 years experience in FMCG or hospitality industry, preferably in Sales related roles, or a completed internship in Sales & Marketing
- Driving License is a must
