Purpose
Medline is a leading global healthcare company providing medical and surgical supplies with superior value throughout North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Medline is growing rapidly, and we invest heavily in manufacturing and distribution facilities, as well as in our people. The Sales Manager's goal is to increase Medline's sales volume and margins across the assigned product ranges in alignment with the guidelines and strategy defined by the company for his/her geographical area (Middle East & Africa), and in the context of laws and decrees on medical devices.
Activities And Responsibilities
- Design and implement sales strategies to ensure company meets its revenue objectives by increasing new and existing business in your target area.
- Increase Medline's sales volume and margins in your area.
- Manager relationship and performance of distributors. Ensure they get the required support to be successful.
- Manage tenders and prices in collaboration with product divisions and sales leadership team.
- Build and maintain strong relationship with key customers
- Maximise customer satisfaction and loyalty, resulting in long-term contracts for supplying your products.
- Set up a business plan to achieve targets and derive individualised goals for each distributor's account.
- Collaborate with product managers to optimise the overall approach to key products.
- Inform customers about Medline products and innovations, and promote the company's image to them.
- Participate in the launch of new products and apply our marketing strategy in the field.
- Perform competitive intelligence on our products.
- Work with customer service / Supply Chain to develop a market competitive, customer oriented supply chain
Job Requirements
- University degree or relevant job experience
- Has successfully and consistently delivered targets in a very competitive market and complex sales environment
- Industry experience and knowledge of hospital decision-making processes and tendering strategies
- Sound judgement combined with strategic thinking and analytical skills
- Results-driven, motivated and has a desire for high rewards
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Customer focus and networking skills
- Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time
- English and Arabic proficiency
- Very Good MS-Office skills (especially Excel, PowerPoint)
