We are hiring a Sales Manager - Smart Home Division to join our newly established division.
The Sales Manager for the newly established Smart Home Division leads the sales team to meet or exceed targets, focusing on selling smart home devices. The ideal candidate will have experience selling smart homes or electronic devices and will be key in driving growth in this innovative sector. This position involves managing the sales team, developing strategies, and building relationships with key clients and partners to expand the companys market share in smart home solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy and Execution:
Develop and implement sales strategies specifically for the smart home division.
Set, track, and report on sales targets related to smart home products.
Identify new market opportunities and drive smart home and electronics business growth.
2. Team Leadership:
Lead and manage the sales team within the smart home division, ensuring the achievement of sales goals.
Train and develop the sales team to enhance their understanding of smart home technology and solutions.
Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing support to team members.
3. Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, and partners in the smart home industry.
Serve as a key point of contact for significant clients, negotiating and closing deals.
Ensure excellent customer satisfaction and address client needs on time.
4. Market and Competitor Analysis:
Monitor trends in the smart home and electronics markets, providing insights for strategic decision-making.
Analyze competitors and recommend to the Commercial Manager how to position the company for growth.
5. Sales Reporting and Budgeting:
Prepare detailed reports on the smart home division's sales performance and present the results to the Commercial Manager.
Manage the divisions budget to ensure resources are allocated effectively and revenue goals are met.
Leverage data to improve sales processes and performance.
6. Collaboration with Other Departments:
Collaborate with the marketing, product development, and customer service teams to align the sales strategy with the company's overall goals.
Work closely with the Commercial Manager to develop initiatives that support the companys smart home offerings.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience of 10 years minimum as a Sales, particularly in selling smart home devices or electronic products.
6 years of supervisory experience
Must be able to effectively manage and solve conflicts such as customer care issues, disputes, and problems incurred during the sales process
Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing a sales team.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
In-depth knowledge of smart home technologies and the broader electronics market.
Proficient in sales reporting, and data analysis.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing industry.
Starting a new product before and successfully navigating it would be our preference.
Work Environment:
Office-based, with occasional travel for client meetings and industry events.
