To skillfully lead Cotys business (commercial, operational and multi-functional), in the Coops/Supers/Lower Trade/Wholesale Channels, in addition to managing the distributor operations. The individual is responsible to deliver the desired goals, bets and in-store fundamentals targets both long and short term.
This role is highly interactive and multi-functional, requiring day to day interactions with Trade Marketing, finance, supply chain and with the customers/distributor.
Communication & collaboration are essential to ensure a win-win scenario and agreement with all external and internal parties.
High levels of discipline, structure, and influence effectiveness are required to ensure successful execution of all initiatives and achievement of sales/shares targets.
RESPONSIBILITIES Acquire deep understanding of customer strategies and their shopper needs in order to be able to build & devise the right plans for the customer. Leads contract negotiation with the customer to ensure Cotys requirements are locked externally. Spots tactical business building opportunities and recommend these internally in order to address and build the business further. Tailors the sales business plans to customer needs in order to maximize the sales generated by these plans at the customer. Has complete information about the customers strategies, market positioning, activities and our brands; be the internal customer and channel expert. Ensures all agreement elements are executed across all stores both on-shelf, off-shelf. Maintains compliance tracking of all agreement elements. Allocates resources efficiently in order to maximize output and achieve efficiency in use of funds while maximizing business results Provides Trade Marketing with volume sales forecast to ensure optimum levels of inventory and no out of stock or over stock on any line/promotion, and to deliver sales commitments accordingly both for direct and distributor operations. Full Accountability of Cotys In store Presence and sales targets in the assigned accounts. Full Accountability on distributor management targets, on funds, stock levels and execution of business plans.
