Job Description

A Sales Manager typically oversees a team of sales representatives and is responsible for driving sales performance and meeting revenue targets.

  • Job Summary:

The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing a sales team to achieve company sales goals and objectives.

This role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, monitoring performance, and fostering a high-performance sales culture.

The Sales Manager will work closely with the marketing team to align strategies and drive growth.
  • Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; Masters degree or MBA preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in sales, with a minimum of 2 years in a management role.
Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
  • Recruit, train, and mentor sales representatives.
Set sales targets and monitor team performance.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
Sales Strategy:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue goals.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to create and implement effective promotional campaigns.
Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Oversee major client accounts and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise with clients.
Reporting and Analysis:
  • Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Monitor and manage the sales budget and expenses.
Sales Operations:
  • Ensure efficient and effective sales processes and procedures.
Utilize CRM tools and other sales technologies to track performance and manage leads.
  • Oversee the implementation of sales policies and best practices.
