What is the job
As the Sales Manager for MICE Business, you will drive the MICE segment to achieve the hotel's commercial plan and revenue goals. Your role includes managing key accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining strong client relationships. This involves selling meeting, incentive, conference, and exhibition spaces, along with the hotel's other services, to maximize revenue across all departments.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Proactively solicit new and existing MICE accounts to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Conduct site inspections, outside sales calls, telephone prospecting, and written client communication.
- Develop and deliver persuasive sales presentations to prospective clients.
- Handle account details to ensure successful events, coordinating with all relevant hotel departments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key MICE clients and partners.
- Monitor market trends, competition, and client feedback to adjust strategies accordingly.
- Attend industry trade shows, networking events, and community meetings to promote the hotel's MICE capabilities.
- Prepare detailed proposals, contracts, and follow-up communication to ensure client satisfaction.
- Actively participate in daily business review meetings, training, and pre-convention briefings.
- Stay updated on the latest MICE-related innovations and best practices.

What We Need From You
- Bachelor's degree (preferred).
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in hospitality sales, with a focus on MICE or corporate sales.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proven ability to create and execute action plans to achieve business objectives.
- Knowledge of hotel operations, budgeting, and sales strategies.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools and systems.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
