We are looking for dynamic sales professional who will be responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and executing sales strategies. Typically overseeing a team of sales professionals, setting targets, and providing guidance to ensure targets are met. Key responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, negotiating contracts, and staying updated on industry trends. Actively collaborate closely with marketing, operations, and customer service teams to deliver exceptional experiences to clients and travelers. Success in this role hinges on strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of the travel market and customer needs.
Responsibilities:
- Enhance and develop partnership and business relations with potential and existing business partners.
- Identification of resource requirements, mobilization, allocation, based on proper evaluations.
- Propose Development and implementation of department training programs.
- Maximize customer satisfaction to take full advantage and increase sales.
- Developing short and long-term strategies for the enhancing sales overall and outlet wise.
- Design & develop new Marketing & Advertisement plan and budget.
- Manage Relationships through Customer Relationship Management and ensure Customer Satisfaction.
- Ensure regular marketing campaigns to build brand awareness & add value.
- Ensure implementation of Quality Policy with Business Strategy.
- Explore and propose new areas, venues of business.
- Build strong and motivated sales team.
- Ensure business is segregated as per operations requirement and justifies activity revenue.
- Ensure maximization / optimization of profit, resource utilization.
- Prepare Monthly Reports & Statistics including benchmarking data.
- Gather and utilize market intelligence.
- Maintain relevant client data and ensure updating regularly.
- Ensure regular interaction with potential and existing clients.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years corporate travel business development experience in the UAE travel services industry.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in managing teams
- Minimum qualification of a graduate level degree in any field.
- Prior travel operations experience, or someone that has moved from operations to sales is preferable.
- Must have a proven track record of contracting mid to large volume clients. Strong client prospect pipeline that can be converted in a short-term period.
- Ability to sell Business / transient travel, Marine & Offshore and Meeting & Events
- Experience / knowledge of Corporate Online Booking Tool (OBT) solutions
- UAE driver's license is mandatory.
