Sales Manager - Luxury Consortia to join our excellent Sales Team!
The position is accountable for proactively soliciting and handling sales opportunities. Ensures business is turned over properly and in a timely fashion for proper service delivery. Assists in leading all day-to-day activities related to sales with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of sales objectives. Achieves personal sales goals. Responsible for proactively soliciting business. The position is accountable for handling large group or other customer segments related to opportunities with significant revenue potential. Actively up-sells each business opportunity to maximize revenue for individual properties. Aligns customer profile with the appropriate product. Achieves personal and team related revenue goals. Turns business over properly and in a timely fashion for proper service delivery in accordance with brand standards. Creates opportunities to grow the account base through customer interactions.
Candidate with proven experience in the hotel industry is a must; experience selling luxury brands and experiential services preferred.
- Experience in successfully developing and executing creative ways to improve the group pace, while focusing on the basics of the sales process such as prospecting, account follow-up, etc.
Experience developing marketing programs and initiatives that work and will improve the properties top of mind position in the minds of the meeting planner community and the end-user for the leisure transient market
