Job description
We are looking for a pleasant and competitive sales promoter that thrives in attracting new customers. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.
Responsibilities
- A sales promoter must provide all the needed information on promoted products and services
- Assist customers in finding the suitable product they are looking for
- Provide advice andguidance on product selectionto customers
- Build lasting relationships with customers by contacting them to follow up on purchases, suggest purchase options and invite them to upcoming events
- Consistently seek new product knowledge to act as an expert for the customer
- Must have in-depth knowledge about features, benefits and limitations of the product.
- Set up booths or promotional stands and stock products
- Arrange merchandise to look tidy and attractive to customers
- Disseminate product samples, brochures, flyers etc
- Engage with customer and discover their wants and needs
- Must make sure to complete the targets assigned to them
- Sales promoters must keep records of their sales activities andreport their progressto management
- Must track sales figures, maintain customer databases, andprovide feedbackon customer preferences and trends
Desire candidates
- A high school diploma or similar is a must. Bachelor's degree in marketing preferable.
- Must have previous sales experience within the FMCG sector (beverages experience preferred)
- Must have experience working with Supermarket/ Hyper market etc.
- Sales promoters must be able to organize their work and manage their time effectively
- Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Speaking persuasively and at ease when giving presentations.
- Ability to work independently.
- Good observation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
