Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office.- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office.
Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and materials (e.g., brochures, forms).
Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing.
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
Clean and sanitize designated spaces, including restrooms, kitchens, and work areas.- Ensure a clean and tidy reception area.
Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.
Update calendars and schedule meetings.
- Arrange travel and accommodations and prepare vouchers.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with established policies.
_Note:
_ It is important to understand that you will be assisting Hair Stylists with petty assignments like handing over scissors, bloming hair off the floor and other menial activities as part of your responsibilities
- Skills and Qualifications:
Proven work experience as a receptionist or similar role.- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g., fax machines and printers).
Professional attitude and appearance.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.- Excellent organizational skills.
