we are looking for sampling specialist
The Sampling Specialist is responsible for guiding workshops, overseeing the identification of created samples, frames, sampling criteria, and methodology, ensuring proper data weighting and representation, and providing insights / improvements for statistical sampling frames.
Responsibilities
Contribute to the design and implementation of Methodology policies and procedures covering all areas of activity
Supervise day-to-day activities to ensure compliance with stipulated policies and procedures
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of systems and processes taking into account leading practices, changes in business environment, cost reduction and productivity improvement
Establish working relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders
Collect feedback from internal and external stakeholders on issues being faced and other requirements
Contribute to the preparation of progress reports directed to all relevant stakeholders to keep them informed of progress
Actively gain exposure and insights to local market development, business opportunities and the existing regulatory landscape
Actively participate in on-the-job training, mentoring, and coaching of subordinates

Provide clear direction, prioritize tasks, assign and delegate responsibility and monitor the workflow
Promote a high-performance working environment embracing the organization's values
Guide workshops with concerned functions to align on statistical requirements and expectations
Oversee the identification of population of interest and recommend most appropriate sampling criteria and methodology as and when needed
Evaluate created frames and samples, ensure compliance with pre-set design, and highlight areas for modification or improvement
Ensure proper data weighting and representation of targeted population, identify potential risks or improvements, and guide amendments accordingly
Provide consultations for building / improving samples and frames for commercial projects
Guide the enablement of statistical sampling frames and evaluate reports to provide insights for potential improvements and action plans
Qualification
Bachelor s Degree in Statistics / Mathematics or equivalent is required
6+ years of experience in a Statistical Sampling field
