Job Description

Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for a SAP and non-SAP Support Specialist- User Access for one of our partners, a global leader in the chemical industry field.

Job Summary:

The SAP and non-SAP Support Specialist- User Access is responsible for managing user access and permissions within the SAP environment, ensuring compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand access needs, implementing access controls, and monitoring user activities to mitigate risks and maintain data integrity.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer user access and permissions within the SAP environment, including role creation, modification, and deletion
  • Administer user access and permissions within the non-SAP environment (i.e. EKA, Sphera, etc.), including role creation, modification, and deletion
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze access requirements and define appropriate access levels based on job roles and responsibilities
  • Implement and enforce access controls and segregation of duties (SoD) policies to prevent unauthorized access and reduce security risks
  • Monitor user activities and system logs to detect and investigate suspicious or unauthorized access attempts
  • Conduct periodic access reviews and audits to ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements
  • Provide user training and support on access-related topics, including access request procedures and security best practices
  • Coordinate with IT and security teams to remediate identified access control gaps and vulnerabilities

Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in SAP security administration, including user access management and role design
  • Knowledge of SAP security concepts, including role-based access control (RBAC) and SoD
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, SOX, and PCI-DSS related to user access management
  • Basic knowledge of ITIL or similar support frameworks is advantageous
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in SAP security tools and technologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
