Role Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and Transportation Management (TM) Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting SAP SD and TM solutions, ensuring seamless integration and efficient operation of sales and logistics processes. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of business processes in sales, distribution, transportation, and logistics, along with hands-on SAP configuration experience.
What You'll Be Doing
Core Responsibilities
SD Module:
- Design, configure, and implement the SAP SD module to support sales processes, including pricing, order processing, billing, credit management, and invoicing.
- Work closely with the sales team to understand their needs and translate them into SAP solutions.
- Manage order-to-cash processes, optimizing performance and ensuring accuracy.
- Implement and manage customizations to address specific business requirements.
- Conduct regular system maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
TM Module:
- Configure and implement the SAP TM module to support transportation planning, execution, tracking, and logistics.
- Design efficient freight management and transportation processes, focusing on cost control and timely delivery.
- Work with logistics and warehouse teams to integrate TM functionality with their operations.
- Monitor transportation operations, identifying opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to transportation and
- logistics.
Integration and Support:
- Ensure seamless integration between SAP SD and TM modules as well as other relevant SAP modules (MM, LE, etc.).
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments (sales, logistics, finance) to align SAP processes with business objectives.
- Provide training and support for end-users, enhancing their understanding and usage of SAP SD/TM functionalities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues on time, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Experience & Qualification
- Minimum of three years of experience in SAP SD and/or TM configuration and support.
- Strong understanding of the SAP SD module (pricing, billing, order management) and the TM module (transportation planning, freight settlement).
- Proven track record of implementing SAP solutions within a fast-paced business environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical terms for non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach to finding solutions.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
- SAP certification in SD and/or TM modules.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Fiori applications.
- Knowledge of additional SAP modules, such as MM (Materials Management) or LE (Logistics Execution).
