SAPGEM CRM Training Education, Business Development and KOL Manager
This position works out of our UAE location in the Cardiac Rhythm Management division.
About Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) Division
As a global leader in Cardiac Rhythm Technologies, we focus on innovative technologies that can improve the way doctors treat people with heart arrhythmias, or irregular heartbeats.
As
SAPGEM CRM Training Education, Business Development and KOL Manager, you'll be responsible to provide Education and Trainings Strategies for internal and external employees and customers, Business Development, adoption of new Therapies and KOL Management in SAPGEM region (Switzerland, Austria, Poland, Greece and Emerging Markets). Candidate must be an expert technical skills and high level of knowledge to implement educational programs to employees and customers. The candidate will also be responsible for the introduction of new CRM therapies in SAPGEM region, in addition to TOP KOL management and educational engagements.
The SAPGEM CRM Trainer & Education, Business Development Manager & KOL Management is mainly responsible to providing:
- Certifications and field trainings to direct ABT employees and distributors
- Supervision of Products training for employees and customers
- Clinical trainings on best use of ABT products for employees and customers
- Educational and scientific program/workshops to improve skills of physicians
- Creates and runs CRM product and technical training and educational courses in the whole SAPGEM region, for employees and customers.
- Establishes Abbott as the partner of choice in Education in SAPGEM
- Top KOL management by organizing Advisory Boards,
- KOL engagement in education activities
- Introduction of new therapies in SAPGEM region
- Education plans (both internal and external) for launch of new CRM products
- Setting annual education goals for SAPGEM region and manage respective budget
- Main Responsibilities / Description
- Manage certification flow courses and follow up to ensure FTEs complete their trainings as per procedure and policy
- Responsible for the development of standards for customer training including in-house and field based educational programs
- Develop and organize educational programs as KOL events, products training, workshops and symposia
- Represent the Company as a professional and competent resource in support of client and Abbott objectives
- Supporting distributors with new product launches, education and team certification
- Assists in the determination of customer educational needs related to product knowledge and benefits of Abbott products
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of ABT products, therapies, markets and business objectives
- Establishes training project deadlines and takes initiative to ensure that deadlines are met
- Utilizes knowledge gained from education and/or experience, related to medical practice, device technology, development and implementation of training programs, program management and general communications to accomplish job responsibilities
- Develop and maintain effective professional relationships with physicians and lab personnel
- Devise and execute SAPGEM annual plan for KOL management and engagement in educational activities
- Establish Abbott Centers of Excellence for training on new Abbott therapies Devise and execute SAPGEM annual education plan and manage education budget Performs other related duties as directed
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree plus 10 years of related work experience with very good understanding of specified functional area, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
- Strong presentation, interpersonal and public speaking skills; team player
- Clinical experience in the field of CRM with very deep knowledge of CRM devices, especially device algorithms, programming and implant support;
- Knowledge of CRM competitive portfolio
- Knowledge of SAPGEM CRM markets and market dynamics
- Strong relations with SAPGEM KOLs
- Fluent in English, working proficiency in French and German is a plus.
- Working knowledge and application of business concepts, procedures and practices. Will perform this job in a quality system environment. Failure to adequately perform tasks can result in noncompliance with governmental regulations.
- Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Has a general knowledge of technical alternatives and an understanding of their impact on the systems environment.
- Willingness & ability to travel more than 50 % of the time.
