We are seeking a skilled Scale Model Maker cum Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in creating physical models for prototypes, architectural buildings, and other projects by utilizing various materials and techniques. This role requires a keen eye for detail, precision craftsmanship, and a thorough understanding of scale models and fabrication processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create accurate scale models based on blueprints, drawings, and specifications provided by clients or designers

- Utilize a variety of materials such as wood, plastic, metal, and composites to construct models

- Operate a range of tools and equipment including laser cutters, and traditional hand tools

- Collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and clients to ensure the model meets requirements and specifications

- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to project timelines and deadlines

- Troubleshoot and problem-solve fabrication challenges as they arise

- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times

- Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and fabrication techniques to enhance model-making skills

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Scale Model Maker or Fabricator, preferably in a similar industry

- Proficiency in working with various materials like wood, plastic, metal, and composites

- Knowledge of scale models, prototypes, and architectural model-making techniques

- Ability to interpret design blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications

- Strong attention to detail and precision in craftsmanship

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members

- Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to evolving project requirements

- Familiarity with tools and equipment used in model-making and fabrication processes
