Job Description

  • Job Purpose

Managing the County Security Compliance, ensuring their efficiency and security, developing security regulations to continuously enhance the overall security posture of AlUla county.

  • Functional Responsibilities

  1. Develop, implement, and maintain risk assessment processes for operational sites, ensuring alignment with security strategies.
  2. Manage the delivery and execution of security surveys for AlUla County.
  3. Develop, categorize, prioritize, and maintain a comprehensive record of, AlUla, Tayma, and Khaybar public realm assets for security purposes.
  4. Manage compliance, reporting, and action plans for all operational assets.
  5. Ensure operational assets comply with the latest County Security Threat and Vulnerability Assessment.
  6. Develop and maintain efficient reporting templates to facilitate clear and concise security information.
  7. Guide the implementation and use of drones and new technologies for security surveys and site recording.
  8. Manage policy and procedural compliance for operational sites, ensuring adherence to security protocols.
  9. Ensure providing support to security operations by implementing changes and recommendations identified in security assessment.
  10. Manage the development, management, review, and training related to security documents, procedures, and template

  • Managerial Responsibilities

  1. Provide input to the sector's strategy from the Department's or Section's perspective in line with RCU overall vision and mission.
  2. Develop the Department's or Section's objectives, KPIs, annual operational plans and ensure plan execution is meeting the targets
  3. Contribute to the preparation of the Department's or Section's annual budget and monitor the financial performance of the Department or Section.
  4. Implement and execute the Department's or Section's policies and procedures. Oversee the overall performance of the section and ensure KPI's are well developed, cascaded, communicated and monitored.
  5. Ensure effective staffing, professional development and deployment of staff of the Department or Section in consultation with the Sector Executive or (Executive) Director.

  • Job Requirements

  1. Academic Qualifications Work Experience Other Requirements Bachelor's Degree security engineering, Business Administration or any related field. (Master's Degree preferred)
  2. 6 years of relevant experience with 2 years in a managerial role.
  3. Written and Oral proficiency of Arabic & English languages.
  4. Excellent communication skills.
  5. Time management and organization skills.
  6. Familiarity with standards, regulations, best practices, and performance standards.
  7. Maintains a high standard of professionalism, presentation, personal integrity, and customer support.
