Job Description:
This position will be responsible for Assessing security controls and identifying security weaknesses and gaps based on configurations review, standards and security best practices to assess the maturity of these controls in protecting Arab bank assets against different attack scenarios to prevent malicious actors.
Accountabilities and Key Roles:
- Conducting security controls and infrastructure assessment to identify security Gaps based on : technology limitations, secure configuration practice and standards.
- Ability to create test scenarios based on breach and attack techniques .
- Provide recommendations and compensating controls to close Gaps based on security weaknesses.
- Ability to conduct infrastructure configuration review including windows servers , Linux and Unix.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to security policies and procedures across the organization.
- Establish mechanisms for continuous monitoring of security controls and recommend improvements as needed.
- Stay current on the latest cyber security threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices to adapt security controls accordingly.
- Ensure the effectiveness of the security controls by determine weakness related to technology limitations ,configurations and provide recommendations to close these Gaps.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a related field.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field.
Competencies:
- Strong knowledge in IT Infrastructure and security controls (servers, Domain controller , firewall, IPS, EDR, XDR,SIEM, FIM).
- Knowledge in security standards such as NIST and ISO.
- Knowledge in vulnerability management practice and technical controls.
- Preferable ( network +, Security +,CASP+, windows, Linux and UNIX certification).
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, Good technical and non-technical Communication skills.
- Presentation, Reporting, and technical writing skills.
