The Campus Security Officer plays a critical role in ensuring a secure and disciplined campus environment at American university of Sharjah AUS. This position is responsible for enforcing campus policies related to security, student conduct, and safety, ensuring a proactive approach to risk management and incident prevention. The officer will collaborate with campus leadership to align security initiatives with institutional priorities, contributing to a secure learning and working environments for all. This role includes oversight of campus infrastructure, assets, and personal safety, ensuring compliance with AUS's security and discipline guidelines.
Job Responsibilities
- Strategic Security Management: Oversee and implement a comprehensive campus security plan in partnership with external security contractors, aligning with AUS's strategic objectives.
- Incident Investigation and Prevention: Lead investigations of all incidents, documenting findings, and recommending preventive measures to reduce future risks.
- Risk Assessment: Continuously assess potential security threats and vulnerabilities on campus, proactively initiating corrective actions to mitigate risks.
- Orientation and Training: Provide orientation to new students and staff on AUS security policies, fostering a culture of awareness and compliance with safety protocols.
- Operational Oversight: Establish and enforce operational procedures for security personnel, ensuring adherence to AUS guidelines for campus access, including monitoring of students, staff, visitors, and contractors.
- Emergency Response Leadership: Act as the primary point of contact for security incidents and provide immediate response and coordination during emergencies.

Qualifications And Skills Required
