WSP is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer for our road and highway project in the construction industry. The primary responsibility of this role is to monitor entry gates and conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety and security of the project site. This position is crucial for maintaining a secure environment and preventing unauthorized access.
Your new role, what's involved
Monitor and control access to the construction site by checking identification and granting entry to authorized personnel and vehicles.
Conduct regular patrols of the site, including all access points, perimeters, and designated areas, to detect and prevent security breaches.
Maintain accurate logs of all visitors, vehicles, and any incidents or irregularities such as theft, vandalism, or unauthorized entry.
Respond promptly to security alarms and incidents, following established procedures and coordinating with law enforcement if necessary.
Enforce site security protocols and report any security concerns or incidents to the site manager.
Assist in maintaining a secure and orderly environment on the construction site.
Provide directions and assistance to visitors and workers, ensuring compliance with security protocols.
Participate in security training sessions and drills to stay updated on best practices and emergency procedures.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
Saudi National.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a Security Officer or Security Guard, preferably in the construction industry.
Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle security equipment and technology.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Physical fitness to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency response procedures is a plus.
Certification in security training or relevant coursework.
Previous experience with road and highway construction projects.
Familiarity with site security protocols and procedures.
