Develop and execute a comprehensive security sales strategy
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers in the customer's security organization.
Articulate the value proposition and differentiation of Microsoft security solutions and services.
Demonstrate deep knowledge of the security market, trends, challenges, and competitive landscape.
Collaborate with the account teams, technical specialists, and other internal stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Proactively prospecting to identify end-to-end security opportunities.
Orchestrates with team members to drive a focus on security and to discover new opportunities and generate new leads. Leads conversations with strategic/high-potential customers (e.g., high budget, highly competitive) along with account teams or partners. Facilitates the account team unit (ATU) to build security pipeline in collaboration with Security partners.
Articulates business value and collaborates with Technology Specialist to lead the development of solutions that aligns with the customer's needs.
Completes required training and obtains relevant product and role certifications. Proactively seeks training, including information that adds to the understanding of customers business, and shares it with team members.
Experience with competitive Security solutions (e.g. Palo Alto, Splunk, CrowdStrike) is a plus
Understand customer cloud and security initiatives, compete landscape as well as gaps between current and desired security posture. Capture the opportunity of customers journey to balance the need for security and employee productivity with the right process and visibility
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in security sales, preferably in the enterprise segment.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas and objectives.
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Passion for security and technology, and willingness to learn and grow.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or related field.
Microsoft security certifications or equivalent are a plus.
