We are seeking a Security Technical Program Manager to join our team. This role will serve as the missing link between Engineering and cybersecurity teams. Working within the Engineering team, the security TPM will manage cross-squad projects and operations to meet the organization's security and compliance goals. This role combines the strategic oversight of security initiatives with a hands-on approach to solving cloud application security problems, ensuring the protection of systems, networks, and data against threats while meeting regulatory and industry standards. The manager will collaborate with product, engineering, data science and cybersecurity to weave security and compliance best practices into the fabric of the technical teams operations.
As a Security Technical Program Manager, your daily workload might include:
- Coordinate and manage security and compliance projects within Engineering and data Science teams, setting timelines, allocating resources, and ensuring achievements within budget and regulatory parameters
- Oversee the efficiency of executing of technical security operations
- Lead the integration of security and compliance considerations into the development lifecycle of products and applications, ensuring secure coding practices and compliance with relevant standards (e.g., OWASP, PCI DSS)
- Oversee the products compliance with data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and industry regulations, and conducting privacy assessments
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to implement security controls and compliance measures effectively across web applications and other digital assets
- Manage the relationship and communication with Mozn's Cybersecurity team
- Provide expert advice on web application security, compliance issues, and best practices to both engineering and product teams
Requirements
Our target profile is candidates with...
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
- +5 years of experience in information security, with previous leadership or management experience
- Proven experience in web application security principles, secure coding practices, and familiarity with common security flaws and countermeasures
- Deep knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001), compliance standards (PCI DSS, GDPR), and regulations pertaining to data privacy and protection
- Proficient in project management tools and methodologies, with a track record of successfully leading complex security and compliance initiatives
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex security and compliance issues to a diverse audience
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Must be Humble, Excellent, Relevant with a high sense of Ownership
