Data Slot is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, energetic, and results-oriented Senior Account Manager to join our sales team. In this role, you will own and cultivate client relationships, drive revenue growth, and ensure the successful delivery of audiovisual projects. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement tailored solutions that align with client requirements and Data Slot's strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and expand a portfolio of corporate clients through continuous prospecting, visits, and calls leading to funnel generation into the CRM system.
- Identify and resolve Customers inquiries and recommend Data Slot's best Offerings within their budgets & technical requirements.
- Persistently engage with clients throughout the sales cycle until successful closure.
- Oversee the entire sales cycle from quotation to collection
- Ensure the achievement of agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within the timeline.
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the CRM system by providing timely updates for accounts, opportunities, leads, and activities (customer contacts, meetings held, client calls and interactions etc.).
- Update the Management on a regular basis with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
- Maintain a high level of funnel hygiene and submit sales pipelines on time.
- Participate in the weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales and funnel metrics review meetings.
- Provide the customers with quotations; negotiate the quotations within the allocated authority limits, maximizing the margins for each deal.
- Prepare all the tender documents and follow up on the deadlines of the tenders.
- Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs within the allocated authority limits maximizing the margins for each deal.
- Do the necessary contacts and negotiations to obtain competitive prices.
- Act as a point of contact for customers and resolve emerging issues, always ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Present, promote, and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to support informed decision-making and strategic planning.
- Attend Vendors training, Webinars, and conferences.
- Accomplish new certifications and develop sales & technical know-how.
- Oversee the implementation of targeted programs and marketing activities, monitor progress, and raise recommendations as and when necessary
- Represent Data Slot at industry events and conferences to expand professional networks and promote our services.
- Ad-Hoc Assignments / Reports as per the management requests.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of audio-visual technologies and integration processes.
- Comfortable in applying business acumen and financial expertise to assist in identifying & qualifying selling opportunities as part of an account team.
- Must have both the sales skills and technical knowledge to make presentations and lead customer discussions to advance the sales process.
- Proven record of exceeding sales targets and managing high-value accounts.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability/affinity for communicating with customers at all levels of an organization.
- Ability to work efficiently, make valuable contributions as a team member, and assume a proactive approach to their career.
- 7+ years of experience in account management, ideally in the audio-visual space, and a minimum of 5 years in the UAE.
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects in Video Collaboration and corporate audio-visual settings, including meeting rooms, collaboration spaces, auditoriums and classrooms.
- Extensive experience with corporate audio-visual technologies such as AV control systems, LED displays, video collaboration tools, and content management solutions.
- Established relationships with key audio-visual vendors and distributors, enhancing partnership opportunities and project outcomes.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in CRM software (preferably HubSpot) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a relevant field.
