One of a leading companies in Packaging Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Account Payable (Oracle User) to join their dynamic finance team. As a Senior Account Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy in vendor payments and compliance with financial policies.
Your expertise in Oracle will enable you to effectively manage invoice processing, vendor relationships, and financial reporting. This role is crucial to maintaining the integrity of our financial operations and requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and analytical thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable transactions in Oracle, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Review and approve invoices, ensuring they are matched with purchase orders and receiving reports
- Coordinate with vendors regarding payment inquiries and resolve any discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions
- Assist in month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and financial reporting
- Identify and implement accounts payable process improvements to enhance efficiency
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable, with a solid understanding of accounts payable processes
- Proficiency in Oracle ERP systems is required
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
